Singer and Vocal coach Amenhetep passed away

We regret to inform you that Ankh Ra Amenhetep Singer, Celebrity Vocal Coach & Life Coach passed away peacefully at his home.

AnkhRa’s family has announced the demise news of Amenhetep by posting the following message on his official Facebook page.

This message is being shared by AnkhRa’s family to inform YOU that he has peacefully transitioned from this realm as of July 6, 2023. Funeral arrangements will be shared here in the coming days. Feel free to share your love, memories, stories, videos, and pictures in the comments.

About the vocal Guru Amenhetep

Ankh Ra is the official vocal coach for the MTV’s Making the Band-4, featuring the executive and artistic direction of Sean “Diddy” Combs.

AmenHetep balances that technical training, with the spiritual and emotional side of singing, and it is not uncommon for students to be moved to tears during a lesson. Some of his past students include Jaheim, Kerry Washington, Bayje, Selita Ebanks, Cassie, and Donald Fiason.

Through his teaching and coaching style, Ankh Ra’s appeal and influence on many people have earned him the title, “The Vocal Guru”.

AmenHetep about his teaching

While teaching, AmenHetep said he uses encouragement rather than criticism to motivate.

“I said to myself that I was not going to be the Simon (Cowell) on ‘Making the Band,’ ” he said. “A lot of times artists are fragile and their dreams are fragile. I was going to be the person who inspired them and gave them some direction.”
