According to authorities, a stabbing rampage in Canada’s heartland Saskatchewan province has left at least 10 people dead and 15 wounded. The main suspects who have not yet been caught by the police are Damien Sanderson and Myles Sanderson. Let’s see all the information in detail.
In the James Smith Cree Nation and the neighboring community of Weldon, the victims were discovered in 13 different places.
Update: Damien Sanderson found dead
One of the two suspects in Sunday’s mass stabbings in Saskatchewan, according to Canadian police, has been found dead.
According to reports, Damien Sanderson, 31, was one of the victims, and his body was discovered in the James Smith Cree Nation.
The police claim that Myles Sanderson, one of the two suspects, is still at large and presumed to be in Regina. The two suspects were brothers.
About a press conference, police assistant commissioner Rhonda Blackmore announced that at 11:30 local time, a “dead guy” had been discovered in the James Smith Cree Nation (17:30 GMT). At 13:17 on Monday, it was declared “that the deceased is Damien Sanderson.”
She told the media that investigators had discovered his death “outside in a densely grassed area next to a residence that was being checked.”
Damien’s body was discovered with “obvious injuries,” according to Ms. Blackmore, and they are “not thought to be self-inflicted at this point.”
Police have advised the public that the 30-year-old suspect may seek medical attention because he may have been injured as well. Police did not, however, specify whether he was to blame for his brother’s passing.
Myles, who was previously known to the police, is said to have a long history of crimes against people and property and a “extensive and prolonged criminal record.”
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declared on Monday that “violence of any type, including this kind, has no place in our country.”
Tragedies like this, he added, “have become all too typical,” and he promised that Canadians and Saskatchewanis will support one another in “times of trouble and grief.”

James Smith Cree Nation, an indigenous village of around 2,000 people located about 200 miles northeast of Weldon, has declared a state of emergency.

Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, called the incident “horrific and terrible.”
He tweeted, “I’m thinking about those who lost a loved one and of those who were wounded.”
At a press conference on Sunday night, police warned that there may be further injured patients who have admitted themselves to the hospital and urged them to get in touch with them.
Some persons may have been the two suspects’ targets, according to Saskatchewan RCMP Commanding Officer Rhonda Blackmore, while others are thought to have been “attacked randomly.”
According to her, the initial emergency contact to police was sent at 05:40 local time on Sunday (11:40 GMT) in Regina, the provincial capital located some 280 kilometers (173 miles) south of Weldon.
This was swiftly followed by several further cries for assistance, creating a “rapidly emerging situation.”
Suspects identifications and what you need to know
The suspects were last saw by the general public in Regina on Sunday at about noon.
Ms. Blackmore issued a warning to anybody who sees the guys, saying, “The suspects may be in a black Nissan Rogue [car].”
“They are regarded as dangerous and armed… Do not approach the suspects or their car; instead, leave the location right once and dial 911.”
“This is why we require everyone in the province to keep watchful,” she added, adding that the suspects’ “location and route of travel are unclear.”
She also emphasized that “the utmost number of resources” were being devoted to the inquiry by the police.
Where are the suspects?

Witness tells the moment when the Canadian knife stabbing suspect approached
Doreen Lees said one of the two stabbing suspects approached her and said he was injured and needed help.
Doreen Lees, 89, of Weldon, Saskatchewan province, Canada , where the September 4 stabbing that killed 10 people, said one of the two suspects drove to her neighborhood and approached her while mother and daughter are drinking coffee.
Ms. Lees said the suspect said he was injured and needed help. However, when Ms. Lees’ daughter said she would call someone to help, the suspect left.
“He didn’t show his face and wore a large coat over his head. He said he was badly injured in the face so he couldn’t show it,” Ms. Lees said.
Ms. Lees added that when she noticed the man staggered, she followed him for a short distance to see if he was okay, but was stopped by her daughter and advised her to return home.
Diane Shier, another Weldon resident, said she saw emergency responders arriving at the scene of the stabbing while in her garden. Shier said that her neighbor, an elderly man living with his nephew, was a stabbing victim.
“I am very sad to lose a good neighbor,” Shier said.
Tiaraa Twist, who lives in Kinisto, Saskatchewan province, said the black Nissan Rogue that police reported may be being used by the suspects was the one they stole from her sister.
Twist said the suspect broke into her home and stole the car. “I’m glad that my sister was not at home at that time, because her room was the room closest to the door,” she shared.
Twist said she is not too concerned about the stolen car, but hopes the suspects are caught soon and calls them “monsters”.
Not much about the person’s history, family members, or marital status. This is a developing story come back later to find news reports about the ongoing investigation.
