Sheriff Burnis Wilkins confirmed that Tazarie Butler’s death is being investigated by Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Homicide, and Crime location Detectives at the location in the 100 block of Beam Road west of Lumberton. Keep reading to know more about the Lumberton shooting in detail.
Lumberton shooting:
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office reports that the person shot in Robeson County on Tuesday night has been identified.
Sheriff Burnis Wilkins reports that they received a call for assistance from the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Homicide and Crime Scene detectives just after 9 p.m., the 100 block of Beam Road, west of Lumberton.
Deputies discovered Tazarie Butler, 20, who had been shot and murdered when they arrived.
Tazarie Butler, a gifted young vocalist, was fondly known as Little Jbo by his friends and family. On May 20th, he participated in a Youth Mentoring Event where he displayed his talent while also, and more importantly, providing youth with advice on how to succeed.
Police Investigation:
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division investigators are looking into the case and have made a list of potential witnesses.
The inquiry is still ongoing. Persons of interest in the investigation have been named by the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division.
The sheriff’s office has not yet made any arrests in connection with the crime.

Wednesday, June 28, 2023On Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at approximately 9:08 pm, Robeson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 135 Beam Rd., Lumberton in reference to an individual shot. Upon the arrival of the deputies, Tazarie Butler, 20, of Lumberton was found deceased.The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division investigators are investigating the case and have identified persons of interested.

The terrible loss of Tazarie Butler has left his family and friends inconsolable, and they have been writing sympathy messages after another to convey how much it hurts.
His cousin Zameria wrote: “My baby.. lord knows my lil cousins my hearts 
What id do to have yall at my house getting on my nerves at once.. falling alseep in my bed first making me sleep on the couch.. forcing me to cook knowing idk how

Authorities are currently looking into Tazarie Butler’s death circumstances, which are yet unclear. The news has obviously crushed Tazarie Butler’s family and friends, and the community has been horrified by the tragic loss.
