What happened?
A three-car collision at a stop sign near Bishop resulted in the death of a 24-year-old woman.
While the accident is still being investigated, three cars were involved and were going west on FM-665 and FM-70, according to DPS officials.
In one car, a man and a woman were sent to a local hospital for assessment.
A 24-year-old lady who was in the second car was immediately pronounced dead.
The officials hadn’t yet disclosed the victim’s identify, but her friend’s condolence tweets led us to find out that the woman who passed away was Kaitlyn Garcia.
Kaitlyn Garcia attended Alice High School and lived her entire life in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a fantastic ortho assistant as well as an amazing friend. She had the most stunningly lovely soul and an infectious laugh. She had so much going around her, yet she continued to smile every day. She had a lot of dreams, but sadly the horrible catastrophe took her life. Life is unfair. She passed away too soon, and everyone who knew her will always miss her smile.
The third car’s occupant’s condition is yet unknown. The TxDOT has put up a temporary stop sign.
Authorities are currently looking into Garcia’s death circumstances, which are yet unclear. The news has obviously crushed Garcia’s family and friends, and the community has been horrified by the tragic loss.
