On Thursday, August 10, a guy with numerous gunshot wounds was discovered inside a car, according to Jackson police.
Officer Sam Brown said that police were called to the incident on the Interstate 20 onramp close to Highway 80.
A 34-year-old male with several gunshot wounds was discovered by police inside a totaled car. The victim was brought to a nearby hospital, where he underwent surgery right away.
Police said the victim passed away as a result of his wounds. Police are gathering information on potential suspects and the shooting’s purpose.
The victim’s identification is being withheld until notification of next of kin.
