Holguin, a young motorcyclist was killed in an accident that happened on Loop 20 tonight. Police have not released an official statement, but it appears that another car was involved in the crash. Although traffic between Saunders and Jacaman was delayed for a time, it is now starting to clear out.

Accident explained:
Laredo Police have identified Guillermo Willy Holguin, a 27-year-old motorcyclist, as the individual who tragically lost his life in an overnight accident on Loop 20 around midnight.
According to information gathered from interviews, it was reported that Holguin approached Sinatra Street and unexpectedly swerved into the opposite lane while attempting to cross it, resulting in a head-on collision with a southbound vehicle.
The identity of the second driver involved in the incident has not been disclosed by the police.
As per an official statement released by the Police Department this morning, Holguin crossed the median and entered the southbound lanes against the flow of traffic, leading to a severe collision with a gray Chevy Traxx.
The area was closed by Laredo Police for several hours to conduct witness interviews at the accident scene.
Regrettably, Holguin succumbed to his injuries in the hospital, while the other driver sustained minor injuries and exhibited no indications of being under the influence of alcohol.
The driver willingly provided a blood sample for testing for the presence of alcohol in their system. The investigation into the case will continue, and the results of the alcohol test are pending.
Friend and family members were deeply saddened to hear this sad news. Tributes flooded social media after this demise news broke out.
