Starquan Washington was killed in a tragic incident that occurred overnight outside a bar in the Myrtle Beach region, according to local authorities.
According to an official police incident report, Horry County Police were alerted to the shooting at approximately 2:10 a.m. on Wednesday and responded quickly to the event at 4803 Highway 17 Bypass, which corresponds to the address of Barfield’s Bar & Grille.
Two people were among the casualties and were immediately evacuated to neighboring medical institutions. Unfortunately, the Horry County Coroner’s Office has verified the death of one of the victims by text message, according to spokesman Mikayla Moskov.
The other victim, whose identity has not been revealed, was fortunate to receive treatment for injuries that, while serious, were considered non-life threatening.

An overnight shooting investigation remains ongoing.Around 2:30 a.m., #HCPD responded for a report of a shooting near the 4000 block of the Highway 17 Bypass in unincorporated Horry County.Two injured individuals were transported to area hospitals.The Horry County Coroner’s Office confirms one of those individuals has died.
