Michael Patterson cause of death 

The co-founder of the Jacksonville Jaguars Drumline, Michael Patterson, passed away due to a heart condition. With two decades of leadership as the co-director of the D-Line and his role as a drummer at First Baptist Church, the 44-year-old left an enduring impact on the community.

In a poignant tribute, a “Walk of Honor” was held through the halls of the intensive care unit at Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside to recognize Michael’s organ donation.

His wife, Mylene, a registered nurse at the Baptist Medical Center, played a crucial role in saving his life during a heart attack two years ago. Throughout the past week, Mylene shared updates, expressing both heartbreak and gratitude for Michael’s impact in helping others through organ donation.

“At 3:30 pm, Michael is set to give the gift of life. An Honor Walk will be arranged for him in the ICU, guiding him through the hall to the OR, where I will bid my final farewell. Anyone able or willing to attend at 3:30 can enter through the main entrance of St. Vincent’s Southside, proceed down the hall to the ICU, and they will direct you where to stand. (Please keep in mind that hospital schedules can be fluid or non-existent at times.)”
