According to a statement released by police on Thursday, when police arrived at the Brookley Pointe Apartments following a complaint of a man having been shot, they discovered Leon Curtis IV dead.

Officers were called to the Brookley Pointe Apartments, located at 600 S. Washington Avenue, on Wednesday, October 4th, at 11:04 p.m. in connection to a male victim who had been shot.
When they arrived, they found Leon Curtis, 29, who had been declared dead. However, there is no information about the suspect or the circumstances surrounding the homicide.
