The Mount family is mourning the loss of Paul Keagan Jaravata, a much-loved member of the Class of 2024 who passed away today following an apparent skateboarding accident six days ago. The CHS Theatre Company family is mourning the loss of Keagan Jaravata, a much-loved member of the Class of 2020 who passed away today following an apparent skateboarding accident six days ago. Keagan will be remembered for his infectious smile, sense of humor, musical talent, creativity, friendship, and zest for life. Rest in peace, Keagan.
He was admitted to a hospital in Baltimore after suffering a significant head injury in what appeared to be a skateboarding accident in Emmitsburg, off-campus. Despite everyone’s prayers, he passed away on September 6, 2023, devastating everyone who knew him.

Paul Keagan Jaravata has always been driven to excel in his studies and has an insatiable desire for knowledge. He actively participates in class discussions, collaborates on research projects, and seeks out new opportunities to broaden his intellect because of his desire to comprehend.
His instructors usually compliment him for being a diligent and inquisitive student who goes above and beyond to understand challenging subject and apply it in creative ways.
One of his most notable personal traits was his remarkable capacity for empathy and compassion. He has a great deal of compassion for others and will go out of his way to help or listen to them.
