The Pierce County Sheriff’s Department quickly responded to the scene of the single-car crash, which happened shortly after 1 p.m. in the 33300 block of Webster Road East. Local fire crews worked tirelessly to rescue Jason from the wreckage, rushing him to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.

In memory of Jason and as a gesture of solidarity with his dear ones, a community vigil has been scheduled for Monday, 10/30/23, commencing at around 8 pm. The vigil will take place at the EHS football field and is open to the entire community.

Everyone is encouraged to be part of this gathering, as it’s an inclusive event intended to offer comfort to all those affected by this tragic event. The vigil will follow the conclusion of the 2023 season’s final JV football game.
