This unfortunate incident occurred shortly after 2 a.m. when the 38-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle, leading to the crash in the 1700 block of South Western Avenue, as per information provided by the Chicago police.

Subsequent to the collision, he was quickly transported to Mount Sinai Hospital due to injuries sustained during the accident. Regrettably, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital, a confirmation made by the police.
