Stevens was more than just a competition for many people in the drag racing industry; he was also a friend, a mentor, and an inspiration.
Everyone he encountered at the track had a greater sense of brotherhood and elation as a result of his presence. He devoted everything he had to the Ingenue/Buick Dealers Group Funny Car, and he greatly improved the sport.
Walt left behind a legacy of never-ending enthusiasm, unwavering commitment, and contagious passion for the fast-paced sport of drag racing. His charismatic attitude, contagious laugh, and unwavering dedication to the Ingenue/Buick Dealers Group Funny Car made him a hero in the eyes of many. He left behind his beloved wife Maria.

Drag racer, Walt Stevens was a great pioneer in the racing industry as a driver in Top Fuel, he was a great supporter of LKK Racing with his generous supply of CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oil.
Walt will always be remembered for his exceptional contributions to the drag racing industry and for his unwavering devotion to it.
