Derek Wooten passed away

Derek Wooten was discovered shot and killed in an Euclid driveway, and an investigation is currently in progress. He was 59 years old.

Euclid resident Derek was discovered face-up on Wednesday, December 7, 2023, in the 26000 block of Aaron Drive, close to the back of a driveway, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.

According to Police Chief Scott Meyer, Wooten was shot many times in his driveway at approximately 8:15 p.m. that evening. Police responded to the complaint of gunfire and discovered the lifeless body of Derek on the rear driveway of the Euclid.
