An overnight high-speed pursuit originating in Irving turned tragic as it culminated in a devastating crash in Downtown Dallas, claiming the lives of four individuals and causing a significant traffic backlog during rush hour. Among the victims are Sabria Hernandez, Deavion Aubert, known as DeDe (22), Rob, and Anthony Lisbon (21).

The incident underscores the dangers associated with reckless driving and prompts questions about public safety measures in high-speed pursuits.

Fatal Crash in Downtown Dallas Claims Four Lives

In a devastating incident that unfolded overnight on Thursday morning, the Irving Police Department reported the loss of four lives following an officer-involved chase.

According to investigators, the tragic event began when officers identified a stolen car in the 3200 block of North Belt Line Road. Upon attempting to initiate a traffic stop, the driver of the stolen vehicle made a fateful decision to evade the police.

The pursuit took a fatal turn when the driver lost control, resulting in a catastrophic crash from a flyover near I-35 and Woodall Rogers.

Sadly, everyone inside the vehicle succumbed to their injuries, as confirmed by the Irving Police. The victims have been identified as Sabria Hernandez, Deavion Aubert, also known as DeDe (22), Rob, and Anthony Lisbon (21).

The consequences of the crash extended beyond the occupants of the suspect’s vehicle. A Dallas County sheriff’s deputy sustained injuries when the suspect’s vehicle collided with a light pole, causing it to fall onto the deputy’s vehicle.

Despite the harrowing impact, the deputy managed to hit the light pole and subsequently crash into a concrete wall. Fortunately, the deputy is expected to recover, highlighting the inherent dangers faced by law enforcement officers in the line of duty.

The video captures the crash in the distance, revealing a scene of chaos and destruction. The stolen vehicle is depicted engulfed in flames on the ground below, marking the violent culmination of the high-speed pursuit.

The recorded audio accompanying the footage captures the tense moments leading up to and following the crash. “He just went over, crash underneath, massive fire,” an officer is heard saying in the video, underscoring the intensity of the situation and the immediate response from law enforcement on the scene.

Investigating the Aftermath of Irving’s Tragic Crash
