“Following a fatal road traffic collision on Dark Lane, Paull in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 12 September) officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
We were called at 12.20am to reports that a white Audi S5 had collided with a fence near to the entrance of Checkers before travelling along a grass verge further colliding with an electrical pole.Emergency services were deployed to the scene and despite their efforts, the driver of the car died at the scene.The man’s family have been informed and are being supported by our officers at this awful time.
We would appeal for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 7 of 12 September.”
