Tributes to Amanda:

Destiny Quinn posted,

Tonight our hearts are heavy.
We were lucky to have Amanda Hanson light up our screens in Region 8 for many years. But, off-screen, she was even more special.
The energy she had for life was inspiring and her dance moves were unparalleled.
Amanda has been a mentor to me for years. From helping me with tap routines, to showing me the ropes in my first job, to even helping me with the decision-making process in making the move for my latest job. I always knew I could lean on Amanda. She always took care of me.
My heart hurts tonight. But, as I sit here and see the tributes roll in, I once again am inspired. We all need to live life with that same energy. You will be missed, Amanda.

I’m heartbroken to share that my dear friend, longtime colleague and Dance Party Friday buddy, Amanda Hanson KAIT, has died.
Amanda put this montage together when I was leaving KAIT to move home to Kentucky. This is just a glimpse of her personality. Amanda was a light. She was kind. She helped everyone and loved people. What you saw on TV was who she was. She was my dear friend and I’m just heartbroken. I’m so thankful for the memories, so many wonderful memories.
I know her location. She’s in heaven dancing with Jesus and watching over all of us. I love and miss you, Amanda. Thank you for being a friend!
